Reception of PersonsReception
The Reception is a structural subdivision of the Office of the President. It is directly subordinated to the Chancellor of the Office of the President. In accordance with the established procedure, the Reception receives citizens and other persons, administers documents at the Office of the President, gives consultations on issues of concern, and provides the information requested. Information is also provided by phone. The Reception personnel examine requests, complaints, and information addressed by individual persons to the President of the Republic and the Office of the President, respond to inquiries, prepare reference notes and forward them to the President of the Republic. The Reception's Document Management Division administers and manages the flow of documents, registers requests, and redirects them to addressees and executive officials. It ensures the storage of documents and their transfer to the Lithuanian State Archives as established by the laws.
