President Discussed Rotary Club Activities

President Valdas Adamkus received Rotary International President Dong Kurn Lee.

Mr. Adamkus was informed about Rotary's largest-scale project in Lithuania: support for tuberculosis prevention. The Rotary Club has allocated a sum of almost two million litas for this purpose.

Among the other issues discussed at the meeting were Rotary activities in Lithuania, priority fields and future plans. President Adamkus stressed the importance of non-governmental organizations engaged in charity work.
