President discussed Lithuania’s position at the European Summit with Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs

Wednesday, June 17, Vilnius - President of the Republic of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus received Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius and Minister of Foreign Affairs Vygaudas Ušackas.

The President discussed with the Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Lithuania's position to be taken at the upcoming European Council meeting on 18-19 June in Brussels with institutional, financial regulation, climate change and energy issues on the agenda.

It is also planned that prime ministers of the seven Baltic states will sign a Baltic energy connection plan which is very important for Lithuania.
