President Valdas Adamkus, who is continuing his two-day working visit to Georgia, met with Head of the EU Monitoring Mission Hansjörg Haber. President Valdas Adamkus spoke on the phone with US President Barack Obama. During their conversation, President Obama's visit to the Russian Federation, scheduled to begin on July 6, and the situation in Georgia were discussed. During his working visit to Georgia, President Valdas Adamkus together with President Mikheil Saakashvili of Georgia attended the opening ceremony of Vilnius Square in Tbilisi. President Valdas Adamkus, who is on a working visit to Georgia, met with Mayor of Tbilisi Giorgi Ugulava and opened a Lithuanian-language class where 15 adult Georgians would be learning Lithuanian. The President will also meet with the Mayor of Tbilisi, Giorgi Ugulava, and open a Lithuanian-language class where 15 adult citizens of Georgia will be learning Lithuanian. Together with the Georgian leader, President Adamkus will take part in the opening ceremony of the Vilnius Square in Tbilisi. Tuesday evening, President Adamkus will attend a reception held to celebrate the Millennium of Lithuania and on the occasion of his visit to Georgia. |
