Letters of credence presented to Lithuania’s Ambassadors to France and Israel

Friday, July 10, Vilnius - President of the Republic of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus presented letters of credence to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to France, Ms. Jolanta Balčiūnienė, and Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to Israel, Mr. Darius Degutis.

The President underlined in his congratulatory word that the two Ambassadors had a vast diplomatic experience, and expressed hope their knowledge, energy and skills would help to enhance further Lithuania's relations with France and Israel.

The Head of State expressed confidence that the new Ambassadors would contribute in addressing a wide range of issues and opening new areas for cooperation between the states concerned.

The President wished the Ambassadors every success in discharging their diplomatic duties.
